Riders please answer. (Aviation). How to become a commercial pilot?
Ok I'm a sophomore in High School. I have planned I graduated a year earlier. I want to become an airline pilot for someone like United or Northwest. I've always loved flying and that runs in my family. I wondered, What is a good way to become a pilot? Any specific universities in the U.S. I recommend? Any help is greatly appreciated. For the record, make good grades and made a 28 on the ACT, but I will consider again.
It depends on how you want to go, if you join the Air Force free place, but its kindaa time now USAF will have you sign a contract for eight years. If you want to force it you can join the academy. or join the flight club and make payment according to the style. if you go to the academy could end up paying too much. If you go with the Flight Club you have to get your private pilot license will cost around $ 10,000, which also depends on how you do on your flight. if you are really stupid driver you have to take some more flights than others to learn everything, if they are smart so you can make it faster. After receiving your ppl can only fly by your self for a few hours, which you can obtain the qualifications instruments, commercial Assessment, Evaluation Multi Eng, Eng manifold. Assessment Instrument, which TPI, there is another couple who have to do to get a job as a pilot. Prolly cost you about $ 70,000 to $ 100,000. I'm not sure how, but it is the right amount.
